The conference is a great opportunity for continuing education, professional development and awareness building; a day of engaging presentations and hands-on activity, for all persons involved with schools, childcare and similar facilities in Arizona; and anyone with an interest in ensuring safe, healthy learning and working environments.
Who can attend? Anyone with an interest in safe and effective pest management in schools, childcare and similar facilities, or anyone interested in our Schedule.
Typically our audience includes school and other administrative staff, maintenance and operations staff, grounds and landscape managers, teachers, principals, nurses, parents, and pest control technicians, food service staff, facility managers, superintendents, medical professionals, students, and many others.
Listen to talks by experts on various aspects of school IPM, share your experiences and questions, discuss strategies and find solutions to pest issues your school is facing. Give feedback on topics you would like to see in future events.

Will this class be live? Or is it a pre-recorded class?
All talks will be prerecorded.
How will I get the links to the talks and class?
Links to the talks will be sent by EMAIL ONLY to all registered participants on the morning of April 19th. Please watch your emails.
If you have registered for your colleagues/staff, please make sure to send their email addresses to email@example.com before April 19th, so that they can receive the links.
How long will the class still be?
Each class is 50-60 minutes long. Registered participants can access the talks at their convenience from April 19th through May 31st.
How will my attendance be verified? Do I just listen to the talks and get my CEUs?
Great question! **Important** All talks have short and simple quizzes attached to them, and these will be available via links.
In order to earn CEUs, you need to view the talks and complete the related quizzes on your phone, tablet or laptop. Each quiz will have spaces to provide your Full Name and License number.
If you are unable to access the quiz online, please email firstname.lastname@example.org for a word document which you can complete and email back.
Can multiple people view the talks using the same link?
Technically, multiple people can attend via a single computer and that’s a great idea. In regular times, this could be done using a large meeting room or similar environment, and the talks could be projected on to a big screen.
But in the current situation with COVID-19, we do not recommend having multiple people in the same room listening to the talks. PLEASE FOLLOW ALL CURRENT RULES AND REGULATIONS REGARDING SOCIAL DISTANCING AND SAFETY!
Further, if multiple attendees need CEUs, all of them must be registered and provide their full names and license numbers.
