Arizona 360 has an encore presentation of its look into the impact of automation in the state and how some industries are currently integrating the technology. We see how companies TuSimple and Waymo are testing self-driving vehicles in Arizona. Lorraine Rivera travels to a research farm in Maricopa to see how the UA College of Agriculture and Life Sciences is also integrating automated technology into machines designed to improve what’s known as precision agriculture. We hear from UA economist George Hammond about the overall impact automation is predicted to have on jobs in the state. And UA professor of systems and industrial engineering Larry Head explains some of the cyber vulnerabilities automation presents.
